Peter Brock office at 812 Camelia St, BerkeleyPeter Brock first entered the field of architecture in 1974 and has maintained a practice since 1983, based in Washington DC through 1996 and in Berkeley, California since then. The first six years of the firm's history were in partnership with Valerio Simini, a gifted designer now practicing in his native Tuscany. Over the years Peter has devoted particular focus to energy responsive design, timber framing, historical restoration, and more recently furniture making. He actively participates in every project and sets the fundamental design direction for the firm. Peter has a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Princeton University and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a licensed architect in California and the District of Columbia.

Woodworking studioMarina Rubina began working in the field in 1994 and has contributed to a wide spectrum of commercial, institutional, and residential projects. Born in Moscow, Russia, Marina has both her Bachelors degree and a joint Architecture and Structural Engineering Masters from the University of California at Berkeley. She is a licensed architect in California. Away from the office Marina makes silk paintings and theatrical sets.

Vaughn Johnson is an independent woodworker specializing in Japanese style carpentry. He designs and builds commissioned and speculative pieces ranging from free standing furniture to built-in architectural features. Vaughn has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Tyler School of Art.
